Octavia St Laurent

Best known for their role in Paris is Burning and for their presence in the Harlem ball scene, they were also an AIDS educator, a model, and a proud intersex person. As I was working on this illustration, these colors naturally came together and I took the inspiration to reimagine the intersex flag with Octavia at its center.
